Lorne Abony is an entrepreneur with a strong track record in creating shareholder value. He co-founded FUN Technologies in 2002, which was one of the fastest growing companies in the history of the Toronto Stock Exchange. It grew to become the world’s largest provider of online casual games and fantasy sports with over 35 million registered customers. In March 2006, FUN Technologies was acquired by Liberty Media Corp in a deal valuing the company at $484m.

Mr Abony is a successful Canadian businessman and is a recipient of the prestigious top 40 under 40 award. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School, an L.L.B. from the International Law Centre at the University of Windsor and a B.A. from McGill University. Mr Abony sits on the board of the Boston Foundation for Sight, and is also a competitive tennis player and was a member of the Team Canada Men’s Tennis Team in 2009.
